Mutebi gifts flood Mengo -

---
With just two days left to Kabaka Mutebi's wedding, thousands of people are still thronging Bulange to make their last minute contributions. From morning to evening, Katikiro Mulwanyamuli Ssemwogerere's office on the first floor of Bulange is besieged with people queing to deliver the "Makula" (royal gifts).

The usually deserted Kabakanjagala Road was a beehive activity. The people line up the road from morning till evening selling gifts, photos of the royal couples and others selling edibles.

Last week the Katikkiro told journalists that he now rarely does any work apart from receiving gifts. "On average I now shake hands with about six hundred people everyday" Mulwanyamuli said.

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, continues to follow in his father's foot steps in embracing all Buganda and Uganda.

Kabaka Mutebi is a lover and supporter of sports just like his father King Sir,Frederick Edward Muteesa II, who excelled in cricket, soccer and Archery.

Here in the picture, King Sir, Frederick Edward Muteesa dressed in full honour as qualified Military Officer.

King Sir, Frederick Edward Muteesa was highly praised for his articulate mind, far reaching vision and his smartness, qualities that established a strong foundation for Buganda Kingdom.

Sir Edward Muteesa's smartness and love for class is evident in the style of the Twekobe that he built. Although run down and plundered by those who were enemies of the Kingdom, the Lubiri Palace and Twekobe remain center of attraction and admiration to whoever visits them.

Here in the picture are Sarah Kisosonkole (Kabaka Mutebi's mother(left) and Damali Kisosonkole (extreme right).
