Uganda Holiday Tour (14)

This Holiday Tour lasting 14 Days takes you to Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Semuliki, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Parks

Day1: Airport Transfer to Kampala
Our representative picks at Entebbe International Airport and transfers you to a hotel either in Entebbe or Kampala. Hotel options in Entebbe include Entebbe Resort, Imperial Botanical hotel, Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel whereas in Kampala, there are a variety of options ie Hotel Africana, Serena, Sheraton and Grand Imperial Hotel.

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls
After breakfast, start your long journey to Murchison Falls National Park, you may pass by Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for Rhino viewing. Stop at Masindi town for lunch. Arrive at the park in the evening and use the remaining hours of the day by visiting the captivating top of Murchison falls. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chili Camp.

Day 3: Wildlife viewing in Murchison Falls
Take breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive. Have lunch at the lodge and utilize the afternoon for a boat cruise on River Nile up to bottom of the falls as you watch giraffes, lions, elephants and crowds of hippos plus a diversity of bird species including the shoebill. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Set off for Kibale National Park
Drive to Fort Portal and connect to Kibale Primate Park. Arrive in the evening and check in either at Ndali Lodge, Fort Motel, Rwenzori View Guest House, Toro Resort or Bandas for a wonderful overnight and dinner.

Day 5: Chimpanzee primate tracking
Enjoy chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Have lunch and visit Bigodi Swamp Eco site sanctuary for more primate watching and birding. Overnight and dinner the hotel or lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Semuliki National park
Have your breakfast and leave Kibale to Semuliki National park, view the beautiful Rwenzori Mountains, the hot springs and the pygmies. Enjoy the night game drive looking for the rare species like leopard and other nocturnal animals. Overnight and dinner at the Luxury Semliki Lodge.

Day 7: Semuliki to Queen Elizabeth National park
Start the day with a morning game drive and nature walk. After the game drive, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology or Mweya Hostel for overnight.

Day 8: Game viewing boat/launch cruise on kazinga Channel
After breakfast, have a game drive and after lunch in the afternoon, take a boat sail on Kazinga Channel looking for a diversity of game and birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana safari Lodge.

Day 9: Primate Walk to Bwindi
After breakfast do Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge, if at the time of your booking, the chimp permit was available. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest camp, Gorilla Resort lodge, Kitandara Tented Camp, Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day11: Face to face with Gorillas
It is a wonderful day for gorilla tracking. Tracking of gorillas lasts between 2 to 8 hours depending on their movements. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest camp, Gorilla Resort lodge, Kitandara Tented camp, Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day12: Bwindi to Lake Mburo, enjoya launch Cruise,
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Parks. Arrive in the lunch hours, check in at Mantana tented camp, Mihingo lodge, Rwonyo camp or Lake Victoria Hotel in Mbarara Town. After lunch at any of the above accommodations, take an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo during which, you will see a variety of animals and birds.

Day 13: Game Drive, Nature Walk
After breakfast, head for game drive in Lake Mburo National Park which is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with a variety of attractions; make a stopover for a lunch en-route. Move on with the game drive en-route in search of zebra, eland antelope, hippos, crocodiles, impala and birds. After lunch have guided walks around the park. Overnight at Mantana tented camp, Mihingo lodge or Rwonyo camp.

Day 14: Game Drive and return to Kampala
You start the day with an early breakfast, then a game drive through the park, and return to Kampala at your own convenience. Lunch en-route; make a stopover at Mpambire and Uganda Equator for a photo session and traditional handcraft shopping. Arrive in Kampala in the after and retire to you booked hotel.
